Why I enter photo competitions
For me, competitions are not about trophies, but about growth. Submitting images to juried competitions means I constantly have to sharpen my eye, explore new forms of expression and be aware of the story an image tells. It also brings inspiration and professional development when you receive feedback from skilled international judges.
Being awarded is of course wonderful, but what matters most is that it pushes me forward as a photographer. Every award and every piece of feedback is a reminder of why I love this craft — creating images that move, delight and stand the test of time.
