Happy birthday – and congratulations on your one-year-old!

This is such an exciting time. Children develop at their own pace: some are trying out their first steps, while others are a little more cautious and happiest closer to the ground.

I'm really looking forward to photographing your child at this lovely age.

This guide is designed to help you be as well prepared as possible for your session with me.

Does your child have a favourite cuddly toy that simply has to come along? Bring it! Details like this make for lovely, personal memories.

Feel free to bring a couple of changes of clothes, so we can take several different sets of photos and outfits. Remember to iron the clothes beforehand.

We can also take some photos with mum and dad – and big brothers or sisters, if you like. Bring clothes in matching colours and style; these portraits often become even more precious over time.

Choose clothes that are neutral and free of large logos or text. It gives the photos a cleaner look.

And remember: no hero can manage without food and drink! One-year-olds can get hungry and tired, so bring snacks your child really likes. Being a model can be hard work.

With me, you get photo products of the highest quality. Everything I offer is on display in the studio, so you can see and feel the products before you order.
